It’s an amazing opportunity as Kristina will offer depth information and knowledge as well as a lot of insights and fun.

We are so grateful to have Kristina Karitinou in our Yoga Shala. She is a widely known teacher and one of the pioneers of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the UK.

Kristina will teach both a counted primary and two Mysore classes. There will also be two sessions with technique and introduction to second series, as well as pranayama and chanting.

All levels are welcome.


6/10 Friday – 16.30 or 18.45 Led class primary

7/10 Saturday – 7.30 or 9 Mysore style
7/10 Saturday – 11.30-14.00 Introduction to intermediate series 11.30-14.00.

8/10 Sunday – 7.30 or 9 Mysore style
8/10 Sunday – 11.30-14.00 Introduction to pranayama and chanting for seated meditation 11.30-13.00.


Full weekend workshop:

3 mysore classes, 2 workshops, 2.100 SEK.

About Kristina

Kristina is a certified Ashtanga Yoga teacher, and has been teaching through the tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois since 1991.

She was qualified as an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher by her late husband Derek Ireland, authorized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in 2002 and became Certified by Manju Pattabhi Jois in 2012.

The last years she has been actively involved in the practice of Zen chanting and sitting under the guidance of Zen Master Hyon Gak Sunim. She teaches the Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Sequence and she offers classes, workshops, retreats and TTCs all year round in Greece, Europe and Asia.
